Artist Spotlight: Bamboo Guerillas

Gavin N. Smith formed Bamboo Guerillas in April 2021 after writing Chasing Shadows, following the passing of his late father, Guy N. Smith. His father was a best-selling author of pulp horror which also inspired the name of the band. 'Bamboo Guerillas' was one of Guy's novels published in 1977.

Bamboo Guerillas are a rock-pop band with crunchy, catchy guitar riffs, exciting synths, keyboards and SFX. This combined with Gavin's gritty, melodic vocal textures creates this fantastically unique rock band with heartfelt, relatable lyrics. Bamboo Guerillas are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with.
